A friend and I have a challenge! 3 sets of 15 pushups/situps daily, at least until summer.
We’re doing the whole ‘quarter in a jar if you miss a day’ thing, so I’ve gotta be all over this!

I’ve hiked the Grand Canyon twice and camped at the bottom once.
SUCH a great experience and so different from a typical hike, since you’re climbing up 4,400 ft in the later half, instead of the beginning (hard!).
I hiked in Jan/Feb and it was about 30 degrees at the top with snow/ice/slush for about 2 miles. However, as we got closer to the bottom, it was in the mid 60s.
Colder months are the perfect time for this hike in my opinion :)
This is a huge stretch for me since I, until recently, was going to school to be a pastry chef. I started about a month ago, giving up cookies. While I’ve had momentary lapses in judgement, I think I’m still doing alright.
I’m trying to eliminate chocolate, next. Scary.
Eating fruit has been a great substitute for all the sweets I crave.
