I got my elbow hyper-extended in late April. I didn’t hurt too bad, but I knew needed to not use it for a while. I canceled my gym membership for June and have mostly been sedentary since the injury.
I have been pretty good keeping load off it but it still hasn’t healed yet, although I am real close. The worst part is the funk that is has brought on. I like to work out a lot, but I still haven’t devised a lower body workout that does it for me yet. I am hoping the elbow will heal sufficiently in the next couple weeks to allow full-fledged training. If it doesn’t heal, I need to develop a lower-body workout regimen. Otherwise I am bumping up against going another waist size up for my pants…..which I will not surrender to easily.
I spent a LOT of time cleaning my bedroom this weekend. I didn’t quite finish because there are so many things to go through. I need to stay the course and finish the job. It is real easy to give up at this point because there has been a massive improvement, but I need to complete it for my own sanity.
