How I did it: I bought a bass guitar, a Squier by Fender Jazz Bass, and started just playing on it. After a while, I was discouraged with my inability to not suddenly know how to play. However I continued and one day decided to look up some tabs. From then on out the only way has been up, I was in a band for a while and now I have two basses, an acoustic and my old Jazz Bass, I call her Anarchy.
