Since I was first informed of a new TV show in Japan that hospitalised some 800 children due to it’s epilicy inducing content I was hooked on Pokémon. It was here that my obsession with the country stemmed.. soon I was trying to imitate the Japanese art style of manga, learning Japanese from a “Coloquial Japanese” Book I found in the City Library, listening to Japanese music, delving into Japanese history books…
But then I was introduced to this thing called the Junior Certificate, a sort of prelude to the Leaving Certificate, the end of school exams. I realised I could not learn Japanese and still do well in the language I was studying for the Junior Cert (French) so I let it slide… next year I got back into it.. but then after that the Leaving Cert course started and once again my language of prefrence was pushed to the side.
But no longer.
Now I am free of the shackles of the Leaving Cert and I have a Japanese for Dummies book with my name on it upstairs waiting for me…

Since back in the wee monthes of 2002 I have been planning a webcomic for my eventual debut as an online comic arist. The story has been planned, the characters have been created, the locations evnvisioned. Now all I need to do is make those figments of my psyche a reality and I plan on doing this when September has arrived and I am not burdened with writing another short comic for The Rising Stars of Manga competiton… WWish me luck. (On both counts if possible ^_~)
