Honestly, it’s not as complicated as people make it. Unless you have really heavily soiled clothing you can usually just throw everything in and wash it on cold… of course, never put a bra in the dryer, and you might want to let other delicate items line dry. With brand new color clothing, wash it separately from other colors once, but after that it shouldn’t bleed. I suppose some people like to wash their whites in hot water to keep them from getting dingy, but other than that there really isn’t any reason to go through the whole process of separately all the colors, etc… it saves energy to use cold water for everything anyway.

How I did it
How I did it: My mother had bought a rotisserie chicken from the store. We ate part of it for dinner, and the next day for lunch I opened the fridge to make myself a chicken sandwich. I was digging my fingernails into the cold flesh, ripping off chunks, when I had a kind of "epiphany".
