I’ve had a few occasions come up that warranted a gift of sort. For both my boss and co-worker, I got each a very pretty flower plant. They loved them.
In May, I was given a few challenges: graduations, new arrival, birthdays, and baby shower. I’ve pretty much concluded that most adults will receive birthday cards for their birthday. I am also no longer sending cards for certain holidays. That really adds up. Besides, it’s not like the peeps would miss it.
Okay, as for May, I have been successful thus far. My nephew, Liam, who turned 5, got five bucks in the mail. For my cousin’s graduation, along with my nephew, Thomas’s arrival, I bought $20 gift cards to Target. Heck, I figured that it’s just easier that way. Plus, Target rules. For the baby shower, I looked at my cousin’s registry and they wanted diapers, so voila! Diapers it is!
I really only a few birthdays next month, and all are adults, so cards will be sent.
As for a wedding gift….hmmm…what can I do?
