- An absolutely wonderful trip to take Jag up to see his great-grandparents. Pa is 86 and Ma is 84. They loved the visit and our cheeky little man really put on the charm with lots of grins and giggles. He even demonstrated his “almost-crawling” technique for a very impressed Ma and demolished a serve of pureed pears while trying to use the spoon himself. Love our little man!

How I did it: I ordered the book from fishpond.com.au because it worked out cheaper here in Australia. Fishpond also take PayPal, so the purchase was really easy. The book is great. It's small format, but very thick and feels very substantial in your hand. There are so many ideas in there that I think it will take me a while to go through the whole book. While it's probably true that most of the content can be found on the site, I really love that I can… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Over the last couple of weeks I have spent some very special early morning moments watching the sunrise while nursing my new baby son. It's very soothing to sit quietly and watch the stars fade and the sky lighten from that first faint blue tinge to full sunshiney daylight. Not too hard a goal to achieve - just find out what time sunrise is where you are, set an alarm and find somewhere nice to watch the event :) Read how I did it…
How I did it: Just emptied my bag out, arranged the contents around it and took a photo.Once I had a good photo, I uploaded it to my Flickr account and added tags and notes to it. I then submitted it to the What's In Your Bag? photo pool. Read how I did it…

- A huge sleep-in, and then waking to Jag patting my cheek and looking at me with big blue eyes and a cheeky grin.
- Cooked dinner and it went so smoothly I had to check that I wasn’t dreaming – usually I’m so kitchenly-challenged :)
- A relaxing late lunch and a chat at Casual Coffee with Tez and Jag. We’d just found the most perfect set of little boy curtains for Jag’s room.
- A couple of emails back and forth with Restless tonight – great to touch base with a good friend after a few busy weeks.
This is working great as a reminder. The first seven days have gone past and I have written every single day. Some entries are really short, but there’s a couple of “War and Peace” efforts in there too :)
I’ve been really conscious of writing about what Jag’s up to and also just daily stuff that’s happening around him. Even only a week later it’s eye-opening to go back and re-read what we’ve been up to this week.
