to be insecure about oneself is to be unfamiliar with oneself. once you find out your true self and nature you can then be confident in who you are as it will instantly be clear that no one’s opinion can diminish yourself except YOUR OWN. very importantly it must be noted that you cannot begin to know yourself and be confident if you carry shame or guilt about the past. forgive yourself, whats happened has happened. everybody makes mistakes, but the difference is in moving on and learning from them.



learn to meditate

Meditation is actually very simple, and that is why so many think that they do not know how. to meditate is to merely observe the mind; your thoughts and it’s patterns. try sitting in a tranquil spot in which you will not be disturbed. the lotus position works just fine. now what happens? your mind seems to be flooded with activity! without something to do you will quickly realize that your mind is a busy body. thought after thought arises, sometimes relevant to the last and other times not. ask yourself each time: from where did this thought arise? does this thought control me? am i this thought? am i separate from this thought? the best results in meditation come when no expectations are held about the results. do not worry about whether you are doing it right, merely observe. it is very likely that your thoughts will drift to certain things pertaining to your current life situation, both ‘positive’ and ‘negative’. do not try to bring about happy thoughts, and do not try to reject bad thoughts. again, merely observe and seek out truth. being the living embodiment of truth should make it easy :)



fast for a week

Juice fasts are the easiest fast to start off with, though water fasts are the most productive. before starting a fast a healthy diet of raw to lightly steamed veggies and fruits for at least a few days prior is recommended. a first time faster probably should set a goal of 3-5 days, and be easy when coming back to food, as the detox process can be wasted. come back to food with a diet similar to before the fast. soft fruits the first day, etc… fasting can be very rejuvenating for the body, but can be dangerous if done incorrectly. i am recommending fasting, but do your research!
