I went grocery shopping today.
I bought a loaf of bakery break
brie
parmesan and basil for homemade pesto
steak
leafy green chard
broccoli
cucumber
tomatoes
bok choy
red onion
a bottle of wine
I stopped myself from buying chips and crackers. I cannot get around carbohydrates. I am especially fond of crutons, crusty bread with cheese or soup and crackers and cheese. I can't seem to leave the store without brie or another type of cheese as well.
I should stop drinking so much alcohol. I average a couple bottles of wine or a six pack a week at home. I drink in addition to that when I go out.
I made a great soup this weekend of rosemary, white split peas, parmesan cheese and purple chard. It was delicious. I noticed today as well that Kale is high in potassium and I'm not sure how much potassium is good for a girl on birth control.
