How I did it: Once I heard that Daniel Radcliffe's critically-acclaimed performance in Equus was going to Broadway in 2008-2009, I jumped at the chance to see it. How I did it: My calculus teacher was telling us a story of how his stupid friend had wasted so much time memorizing 100 digits of Pi. I thought to myself, "I could memorize more than that in a day," and so I have. I printed off a piece of paper with about 300 digits of Pi and started learning each number a row at a time.
