Sandraraaa

I had the surgery earlier this week. I’m bruised and still swollen but already this was SO WORTH it. I’m so surprised on how little pain I have. I had an open septorhinoplasty – meaning in addition to the cosmetic work they also fixed the inner workings of my nose so I can breathe better. My surgeon took an extra almost 2 hours to correct my,”anatomically incorrect” inner nose. So this wasn’t a light surgery. Yet, I haven’t needed a pain pill or even an advil yet. I’m very numb and the stitches burn every now and then, but this was nothing as I’ve feared for years.

I already look in the mirror and think WOW! For the first time in my life it will and is amazing to not look in the mirror and hate what I see reflecting back at me. It’s already giving me peace.

I was scared to do this due to the horror stories of I’ve heard about it’s pain. Piishhhh. It’s nothing at all. I’ve only had 2 treatments so far, and have had no pain or blistering – or anything negative. But I’m so glad I’m doing it.

I’m a photogrpaher and I have been in Vanity Fair – with a small photo – twice – yet I want to have my real work used in such high end magazines on regular basis.
