i learned to whistle this year (i think it is pretty late). i can whistle very high, and very low. and i can whistle very loudly. i’m not sure how good i am at doing it softly though…
i donated blood at school. i got a card that said my blood type a month or two later. this was very recent. SWEET. i have wondered if i was AB like my mother, and we couldn’t remember my father’s blood type, but it was either A or B. so basically all we knew is that my blood type wasn’t O. My blood type is in fact A+.
I did this once and I got high. Supposedly because I was exposed to the smoke over a long period beforehand, that’s what my friend thinks. It was enjoyable if you like weird feelings for their own sake. I wouldn’t suggest doing it regularly, or you’ll be sucked into doing it all the time and you’ll start getting tolerant too, which means you won’t get as high as you used to.
this one time in albuquerque during the monsoon season, it was raining REALLY hard outside. I must have been 7 or so, and i asked my mom, “do you wanna go outside for a walk?”
so we walked around the complex for like 5 minutes. =)
I want do this because sometimes I am left wondering what Jon and the guest talked about during the break, and it is never aired! So maybe one time I could be in on the sorts of things he would talk about in that time. Hopefully I’d end up going to a show where that happened!
For me it was mostly a personal journey, and I had to turn some screws and dials in my mind to get there. Becoming confident can be a hard thing to do for some people.
...when the teacher mentioned that it was on the news that there would be a solar eclipse today. I took the words about it only coming once in a long time to heart, and decided i really ought to experience the eclipse by getting a good glimpse. I went to the window to look directly at it, and I was watching it comfortably when the teacher told me to get away from the window. She closed all the blinds so us little kiddies wouldn’t hurt our eyes…
It was very enjoyable. However, it takes me more than a few minutes and can become a time-waster. Maybe you can be more efficient!
