Amazing. Inspirational. Very quotable.

reduce my alcohol intake to less than 10 units per week
Alcohol 13 months ago

This is mainly for health reasons. I don’t want to be pickling my liver. And it is easier to get fit and lose weight when not drinking alcohol.

I hate the out-of-control feeling when really drunk and I certainly hate the hangover the next day (although I tend not to have hangovers as often these days which could be a worrying sign that my body is getting used to the alcohol intake!).

So I have decided to start keeping my alcohol intake to within the healthy limits for a woman and to avoid binge drinking.

stay in an ice hotel
Ice Hotel 13 months ago

I’ve seen some Ice Hotels on the TV and my partner has stayed in one and I would love to try it. Even the glasses you get your drink served in is carved out of ice! Your bed is a slab of ice covered in reindeer skin and you sleep snugly in a sleeping bag suitable for the cold extremes. I might even combine this goal with seeing the Northern Lights.
