I taught myself how to play once, but I just have to do it again. I love the instrument so much. I’m biased though…I’m a bassoon player. Double reeds will always have a place in my heart.

How I did it: Most importantly, I picked something that was important to me in my life and came up with a way to symbolize it. I started thinking about this tattoo while I was in high school and ended up feeling confident enough about it to get it my freshman year of college. I think it was good for me to sit on the idea for awhile because it made my belief in what it meant stronger. If I had doubted it at all, I would not have gotten it. Read how I did it…
I’ve wanted to learn the hustle since I was in seventh grade. Finally, as a going to be sophomore in college I put my YouTubing skills to good use and my best friend and I learned how to do the hustle in her kitchen at 2 in the morning. If you’re going to learn it, that’s the way to go…haha. Totally worth it, promise.
I am a night owl by nature, but when I wake up early or don’t sleep at all I am amazed by the beauty of the sun rising. I think not seeing it often makes it that much more magnificent. That also, quite possibly, makes me a lazy bum for not being up to see the sun rise on a regular basis, but I’ve accepted that.
