I finally have my own place! Well, I have a roommate. But it’s still my own place. And I’m out on my own finally. And it will stay this way. Yay!

I decided to quit smoking on new years eve. And this time, it’s going to work. I haven’t had a cigarette since before the ball dropped, but we’re going to say I’m on my third day. It’s hard, but not as hard as I thought it was going to be (going cold turky is definatly hard). Heck, I’ve had a cigarette available to me for a full day right now, sitting here in front of me. But I am trying to be strong. I will do this! One step closer to a healthier living. :)
So yesterday morning I caved in. I’m under a lot of stress with family issues and starting a new job…and I just had to have one or I was going to explode on someone. :( I was at day four. Second attempt to stop, and second failure. But I shall not give up yet! I will delay the quitting until things settle down and I can actually deal with the stress of quitting. Then I will try again.
(It’s hard to quit when you want to, it’s harder to quit when you dont want to and to be quite frank…I don’t really want to, I just know I should and that’s why I’m trying to quit)
