I have read Christmas Jars, and wanted to join, so it just so happens that I had some empty jars of bath salts that I used that was just sitting around doing nothing, so I got them, and I have three now. One to give at Christmas, one to save for the kindle I want, and the other for savings. I also have another for silver and gold pieces I’m starting on as well.

How I did it: As a rule, I don't buy unless I truly need it or have some extra funds like when income taxes come or such then I splurge. This year was no exception. I bought some bras(I did so last year and the straps weren't jack)so I had to do some reinforcing and buy some better ones for me and the girls. It was worth the trip. panties to match, enough panty hose and knee his for church, two dresses in addition to the two my boyfriend bought for me … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I read a lot, and to be honest, I am sorry this wasn't around from long ago, but no worries, it is a great cataloger of books, and it has a book shelf for all books you read, reading and want to read. I love it myself and been there over a year and a half now. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Last year, I had planned to buy an Ipod Touch, but for my own reasons, I hesitated, come to find out, the Ipod Touch had some software changes added and after considering the pluses and minuses(mainly if I'm on the street, I'd like to have my email handy just in case someone would reach me this way, but once I found out you have to have wi-fi and be somewhere to access it, that killed that deal. I may still get one eventually, but hopeful… Read how I did it…

It is funny how I started on this savings program, but sometimes I believe God put things in front of you, and you run with it; Anyway, there was a book I ran across called “Christmas Jars” by Jeffrey F.Wright; I finished his other book, The Wednesday Letters” was pretty impressed and got this book. Although the book is small, no more than 150-200 pages at best, it taught me plenty; Basically, you get a jar, save throughout the year, then give the jar to another. I started THREE; one to give, the other two to keep. one is for the kindle I want. I pray it works. I feel like I’m disciplining myself to things.
