How I did it: So after 4 months of banging my head against the wall and dealing with a bunch of morons who have something against disabled people I’ve at least got a partial refund, whilst the system still has some minor faults I’ll be using it to expose their discrimination against disabled people, or at least 2 of their staff; conveniently they weren’t recording those calls and they called me on my landline.I used to sing Hell’s praises, I mean Dell,… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I just thought of random feelings and the like then worded them to fit the standard 5-7-5 stanza; it may not be grammatical English, but neither is Haiku or the use of language on the internet either. Read how I did it…
How I did it: So yeah, I eventually created 3 services on the site, but it seems to be far too small and not run very efficiently to be a major success; the site needs much more advertising than it's doing and is even considering doing. My services are still listed, but I'm not expecting too much from the site itself, and hope that the success will rely on the people who use the site itself. Read how I did it…
See all "How I Did It" stories...
I’ve been a musician for nearly 23 years, a comedian for over 2 years and so much more, includng poet and writer, but one thing I’ve never done seriously is singing.
There’s only 1 record of me ever singing, and that’s in the possession of my beloved Jen, but I seriously want to sing, at least if it’s only 1 song at 1 gig, even if that gig is a talent show, (I tend not to enter talent shows as a musician anymore as I’m a professional, and not only would it not be fair to the other participants, I wouldn’t be proving anything to myself knowing what I’d be competing against).
Anyhow, I digress; I’d like to be able to sing any/all of these songs to a standard that at least a few people would be impressed by, (I may add more later).
3 Doors Down – Here Without You
Beatles – Yesterday
Daughtry – What I Want
Egypt Central – Taking You Down
Eminem – Not Afraid
Evanescence – Bring Me To Life, (with my amazing Jen, of course)
Hoobastank – The Reason
Oasis – Some Might Say
PeroxWhyGen – Another Me
I’ve sung on games such as Singstar, Get On Da’ Mic, Guitar Hero/Band Hero and Lips, but nothing serious, and even then I mute the headset when singing on Guitar Hero/Band Hero most of the time so the other players can’t hear me singing, (when I’m playing over Xbox Live).
I’ve got one of only a hundred sets in the world of Lips microphones covered in nearly 1,100 Swarovski crystals, perhaps I can sparkle as bright as at least one of the crystals.
Because of my Epilepsy and depression, so many things get me down, even little things that wouldn’t make any sense to anyone else, and as a result, I’m sometimes in a really low mood; so I decided to list around 3 album’s worth of songs to brighten up my day, and anyone else feeling bad, so here goes, (I may list more past 43, the irony of which, I just found 3 albums, tallied up the songs, and it came to….43 songs, and actually isn’t the bog-standard reference to 43T).
