Watch a space shuttle launch

You have to be willing to endure the traffic. There is a lot of it, especially at Kennedy on launch day. Also, Canaveral and Coco are packed with traffic before and after, so just be patient. Allow plenty of time to get to the viewing place. Call ahead to the Kennedy public relations office and get causeway passes. If you are on the causeway, you’ll really need to start out several hours ahead of time, so just plan for a picnic lunch and take plenty of water with you. I’ve watched a shuttle come in from the beach at Canaveral. It was awesome. My husband got to see the landing from the top of a building at Kenndey because he was working on a project that had gone up on that launch.

see the northern lights again

Once when we lived in Memphis there was some sort of solar activity that resulted in the northern lights being visible in our area. It was awesome. Having seen them that far south, I’d really like to see them up in the more northerly regions. It would really be a blast.

pass Go and collect $200

Monopoly was one of my favorite games I played as a kid. The other one was Life. Passing Go and collecting $200 was a major highlight of the Monopoly, second only to getting a “Get Out of Jail Free” card. Then there was the total bummer, “Go to Jail…” card. I should play more Monopoly. Maybe I’d get to pass Go and collect $200. Or—get out of jail free.
