I was put to sleep for the operation and, best of all, felt nothing. Never even touched the drugs prescribed for the pain. The ONLY aftereffect for me was a numb tongue and lower lip that lasted only until the next day. Well that, and I was constantly napping and craved salty/greasy fast-food for the next few days.

How I did it: 1) I researched a bit online to find out what kind of bow I needed/wanted. 2) I saved my money. Everything cost me around $250 I believe. Depending upon the type of equipment, and if you buy used, you may spend less. 3) I asked lots of questions. I asked the person who sold me the bow. I asked the guy who ran the archery range. How I did it: I constantly worked on game design ideas as I worked toward making games. C++ was the first programming language I learned. From there I attempted Java and GameMaker (both of which didn't work for me) as well as several game design books. Eventually, I found a book which taught me game design in C using Allegro. I went through the book in about a week, and quickly began work on my own game designs. Read how I did it…

I try to get along and not offend people. I’m beginning to realize that in doing so I’m giving them so much leeway that I’m letting them get away with almost anything. At first I think something’s fine, then I realize it isn’t. Gotta build up the strength to say “no.”
I’ve always been enamored with archery. Did it a bit in high school and loved it. Right now I’m hoping to save up some extra cash (they cost at least $100 at the only place in my town that sells them). Not only does it seem fun, but I’m hoping it’ll get me away from the computer and work my arms a bit.
