I became a vegetarian at the age of 7, when I was in 3rd Grade, after reading Charlotte’s Web.
I was teased like hell and ostracized by the other children…what sad ignorance and intolerance is prevalent in schools! Its crazy how many people are violently opposed to a philosophy founded in kindness. Sadly, the ignorance usually doesn’t end with childhood..
Anyway, there’s a plethora of awesome like-minded support and reaffirmation of values at www.peta.org & www.goveg.com
Never looked back since =]

Becoming a well known singer is about constant persistence, throwing yourself completely out there emotionally, and knowing that failure only contributes to your strength. Singing is something that chooses you, not the other way around.
I never pined for the fortune or glory of being a figure labeled as a singer, all my life I only know how delicious it felt to sing beautiful inflections and belt vocal acrobatics.
Spending my life doing just that is the only thing that feels natural, and I guess that’s how I know it’s fate.
