It was required for health class xD We had these nurses come in for a week and we all had our own little dummies so no demonstrating your cpr skills in front of the entire class! :D

Anyways, we watched this dvd and then did a little bit each day. When it came to testing, I had to do it twice because I forgot to lift the dummy’s chin when I was checking for breathing. I find it stupid that I had to do it all over again because I did everything else fine.

I just want to add that it REALLY hurts your wrist (you’re placing like half of your weight on it 30+ times) and you might not want to wear bracelets and rings on your bottom hand.



do the splits

I was going to try out for cheerleading this year (but got really sick on the day of auditions ;-;) and attended all five days of clinic so that helped. I’m also naturally flexible and try to stretch everyday so yeah. The coach had this exercise where you and another person sit on the floor facing each other with your legs spread and then you grab each other’s arms and you take turns pulling each other to the floor for half a minute and I think that upped my flexibility. Before that I couldn’t do a split at all, but now I can do front splits (left and right) but no side split D: I’m working on it though.



get snakebites

I had my snakebites done ten days ago and paid £40 (about $60). It really didn’t hurt that much for me.

My mum randomly decided to take me to get them done as my Christmas present and we took two of my friends with us. The piercer opened the equipment in front of me so no infections :D I had one of my friends record it and my other friend hold my hand during it. Watching the video later, I looked pretty catatonic xD I just stared at the ceiling. But anyways, it only stung a little bit and my lip felt pretty heavy but that’s it. No blood. Afterwards we went to the market and got popsicles and sea salt. My lip didn’t swell up much and it’s healing pretty well. I brush my teeth and do the salt rinse when I wake up, whenever I eat, and before bed. I still have the big rings in and they’re really irritating so I’m hoping to go back to the parlour and get the smaller ones.
