The “other things” they discovered turned out to be nothing to worry about. The more tests they run, the more such “nothing to worry about” things they are likely to discover. I seem to be improving, most of the time. However, there are still a couple of worrisome things going on, so they have scheduled me with a cardiologist. I’m on a diet and very slowly dropping weight. My ability to do heavy work is improving.

A group of weavers I belong to had a scarf exhibit at a local art gallery. I was allowed to put some of my fine lace shawls in it. There is a beaded cobweb weight silk one that was a real hit! I was in the gallery doing a demo of spinning with a drop spindle while a large crowd went through. Such an ego trip!
My health has improved some, and I can now do more of the work. I’m moving plants, digging holes, and doing some top dressing with good compost. Things are starting to take shape. I got a local landscaper to dig out the gravel where the vegetable garden should have been, and to put good soil with plenty of compost in it in the space. They will come back to till an area over the septic system where I want to put a cutting garden…flowers, and nothing too expensive so it can be dug out if it is ever needed.
