This isn’t really something I want to strive for… it is something Joe must decide he wants to do and then I can assist and support him.

34. Find the perfect house
1 entry . 1 cheer4 people
I want to find the perfect house to finish raising my boys, to grow old in, to call home. I want a house that will be our last, that I can create a home out of… that unites us and feeds our souls. I do not want to settle; I do not want to find one so I can simply check it off the To-Do list. I want the right home, in the right neighborhood, with the right amenities: paved streets, room enough for a small orchard and garden and hen house, an extra room for a library, and a spacious guest room so all the kids can come home for holidays and events.
I want to belong to something; something bigger than myself, bigger than the family I maintain and care for each day. I want to contribute in a meaningful way. I want something to hand to my children and grandchildren when the time comes.
