My morning routine may be a bit much as my primary goal is getting myself ready for work and my kids ready for school. It’s hard to add home maintenance routines on top of that. I’ve been trying for a couple of years now and I always slip back to sleeping in, skipping my routine and rushing through everything else. I’m going to revamp my routine and see if I can make it stick this time.

How I did it: I think the secret is trying to get up at the same time every day. While I don't actually get up at 5:00 every single day, I do on most, and even on the ones I don't I'm still getting up pretty dang early. Also, knowing that it's the only time in the day I can have some alone time is a pretty good motivator. Read how I did it…
My doctor has me doing this diet to hopefully find a food allergy and I’m feeling the need to vent about how frustrating it is! Better to vent here, than constant whining at home.
I have to avoid wheat, soy, dairy, eggs, citrus, tomatoes, potatoes, peanuts, sugar, alcohol, and pork. It’s only day two and I’m having a hard time with it. Yesterday was so hot, I didn’t want to cook anything, but everything in the house required some cooking, so I just ate a salad. Boring!
On a positive note, the eczema that has been bothering me for years seems to be a little better today. I’m curious to find out what food specifically is causing it.
My hubby & I sat down yesterday and came up with morning, afternoon, and evening routines. He even came up with some for himself. This morning, as my son was working on his routine, Baby Girl started crying because she wanted a job too. Hopefully we’ll all be able to keep it up and encourage each other.
