But I think I’m finally in a place where I really love my body. I don’t just accept it, I’m not living with it, but I love my body, from my fat thighs to my freakishly small hands to my back chub and every other part of my fat self. It sucks to see so many people have their goals on 43 things include “lose 10 pounds” or “get skinny” or “lose weight.” What ever happened to loving your body as-is?

Loved it!

I’ve been living in San Diego for two years, and I was so sure it was just “California” that I hated. But when I visited San Francisco a couple of weeks ago, I absolutely fell in love… Fisherman’s Wharf, the trolley, the Castro… everything was wonderful.

My girlfriend and I drove from Western Massachusetts, down through Connecticut and across the country to Phoenix, then on to San Diego. We were in a hurry so we made the trip in just four days, but it was an amazing experience. If you travel, definitely try to pass through Oklahoma and Texas in the early morning – they’re really beautiful as the sun is rising.
