Two best places are on SR 528 near the cruise ship terminal exit, and on US1 in Titusille.

The Titusville locations are a bit closer (and look fantastic at night), but the on SR 528 has the local ham radio club, and htey have all sorts of good info, as well as a live feed from mission control broadcasting over a loud speaker.

In either event, get there a couple of hours early at least, and be prepared for a long drive through traffic afterwards.

Try looking through Flickr for space shuttle pictures, and see where the person took them.

I’m selling my things online now, and making the occasional sale. I tried selling at a flea market for a few weekends, but sold nothing and was out of the money to rent the space. Definetly hte wrong venue for my pictures.

I have come to the conclusion that for a person creating things (whether its writing, art, or crafts) the secret these days is to have multiple income streams, and to use your product in multiple ways.

He’s a tech analyst that’s been doing this for years. He’ll research an issue, then write a few magazine articles, a blog post, and do three podcasts about it.

I’m trying something similar. For my pictures I offer three different sizes, plus 2 different stationary cards. I’m also going to start seeing about getting my pictures and cards displayed in a local coffee house on consignment. One picture, sliced 6 different ways (at least).

I still want to do more portrait photography. I haven’t had any clients since last year. I have a possible lead with a few groups in the area… we shall see.

After 8 years of marriage where my wife controlled all the credit cards and bank accounts (I was away at sea half the time, so it seemed to make more sense), I discovered we were deeply in debt.

We separated (for unrelated reasons), and I took most of the debt with me, since she wouldn’t be able to pay it off herself.

I’ve since paid off three quarters of it, mostly by living well below my means, and now I hope to have it all paid off in 4 years or so.

Things that will help me greatly is paying off my truck in September ‘08, and my son graduating high school next year, which means I can finalize the divorce and stop sending her money (we’ve been separated 4 years, but I was still give her a quarter of my paycheck a month, plus paying for hers and my children’s medical insurance).
