How I did it: I flew to Bozeman, MT and drove for 6 hours to reach the East entrance of the park. I would recommend entering from the West side since the scenary builds from West -> East. There is an airport near the National Park but the tickets to that place are very expensive. That's the reason I chose Bozeman, MT.  The drive from Bozeman to the West Entrance is very beautiful since you pass through Flathead National forest. So just kee… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I live in Overland Park, Kansas. I flew to Denver and drove from denver to cody, WY. Cody is just 50 miles from the east entrance of Yellowstone. Its beautiful drive from Cody to Yellowstone(don't miss it).    Read how I did it…

Places not to be missed ? 5 months ago

I am going to the Glacier National Park for the 4th of July weekend. I am planning on spending 2 full days at the park and would like to know some of your experiences.

So far I found: Going to the Sun Road as a must see ! Can anyone please tell me some other places that I should not miss in the 2 day trip ?

I have heard that “Great Bear Wilderness Area” in the South West of the park contains many grizzly bears and we need to pay to enter that area. Has anyone been to this place and is it worth spending money to enter this area ?

Its amazing to see old faithful erupt in front of our eyes. The hot springs are brilliant to watch. I have thoroughly enjoyed Yellowstone in all its magnificence.
