I’ve had several attempts at this in the past, but I’ve finally succeeded. No more biting my nails (well, except for the very occasional slip-up when one of them breaks and a nail clipper isn’t available). The moment I noticed that my teeth were actually being worn down from all the chewing, I realized that it had to stop. Nails grow back—teeth don’t. I had to protect my self from my own bad habit, and I made it (phew!).
