Well, I got hired yesterday. I start on Monday working at A&W… which is one of the only job opportunites in this small town. I start on my birthday which is a slight setback… but hell, I might be able to save up enough to fix my damn car.

I finished it in 2 days. Very good book… it analyzes moral and religious hypocrisy, nature, human essence and luck. I would reccomend it to anyone.
Although this was a good book, personally, I wouldn’t read it again. It touched on unreasonable expectations, self imposed insanity, chance and ignorance. But read like a bad movie. Although the fragmented storyline was fairly realistic… it didn’t hold my attention. It was a true tragedy, I suppose, as not much looked upward even from the beginning. So maybe I’m just biased against entirely pessimistic/cynical outlooks… although I enjoy dark satire. The book was slightly unsettling and dull, with gems for people who read not just for personal entertainment but for intellectual wealth.
