moose are mean

I would have to watch for them every day going to school and coming home. I was the type of kid who looked on the ground as I would walk. Several times I would be walking and see a HUGE pair of hooves (because I was looking on the ground) and slowly look up to see a monster size rack and a snorting, stinking face. Sometimes we couldn’t catch the bus at our stop because there would be a Momma moose, with her calves. We would have to go to the next bus stop down. Alaska what a great palce to live.
