Just got back from a really fun trip to Stockholm :) It was my first time going away on my own. At first I was a little nervous, but everything was fine. Managed to get around without any problems and I didn’t feel one bit of loneliness during my trip. I am proud of how far I have come along in terms of independence :)
Had lots of alone time to reflect back on things that have happened this year.
And I could finally say “I am happy!”....happy with myself, happy with how things are going, happy with my friends, happy with my thoughts :)
As long as I’m having fun in life and am happy, it doesn’t matter what the outcome is!
I’ve recently signed up to a website to log how many calories I consume each day. I am not supposed to go over 1200 cals (according to my height and weight). It’s quite tough as my usual intake is probably close to 2000! I’m quite amazed with this site as it calculates the calorie and nutrients for each item of food I consume. At the end of the week, I could track my progress on a graph. I hope I’m able to maintain this for another few months.
I’ve had a so-so week keeping the cals down to 1200. Keep drifting over the limit but also been good in declining trips with my colleagues to McDonalds/Vietnamese food and not reaching for the biscuits :)
I hope by next month I could see a noticeable change in my diet and weight :)
