How I did it: Some of my lovely friends had bought me tattoo vouchers for presents before so I had a few going in today to get my first one. I was SO NERVOUS, my tattoo artist was lovely (and quite good looking) so that helped loads. It took about 35-40 minutes altogether. It was not as painful as I thought it would be either, it was sore, but not as bad as I have been told. It is a sparrow which is all black and white. I GOT A JOB!

After graduating in November 2011 and the only future prospects being a lifetime of waitressing and barwork, I decided to get off my ass and do something about my sorry situation.

So…off I went to the bank and took out a loan to cover the costs of getting an apartment/course done to keep me going until I had found something suitable to make a living.

I began caring in hospitals through an agency in the meantime to pay the bills so I could look for something with real experience in relation to my college degree.

After alot of up’s and down’s a position came up in the recruitment agency I had worked for…which I decided to give a shot.

Long story short, I got the job and have been there for almost eight months now. Time to tick that one off the list :)

AHHHHHHH. I did it! I moved to Dublin with two of my best friends. The independence! The job hasn’t actually begun yet but I did it! I couldn’t be happier.

I’ve been working on the singing thing and I have this problem with stage fright, but I’ve figured out it kind of goes away when I hold/pretend to play a guitar. I think this is because I don’t have to look directly at people and I have something to do with my hands.
I already have one guitar gathering dust in my room and a brother with two guitars and a little bit of talent. So I really have ran out of excuses not to achieve this goal this year. :)
