Working in customer support helped here. But I won’t bring this out of my workplace.
Get annoyed at them. It’s not the rude people who deserve our sympathy, it’s the dim-witted ones.
Some people are born dim-witted. They can’t help it. Drive wide circles around them.
Rude people have issues. It’s annoying when they put their issues in your face. It’s like they’re asking for validation of their issues from strangers.
Dim-witted people deserve our patience. Rude people deserve a smack.
