stop procrastinating
Not so, not so easy 12 months ago

In fact, I’m failing at this right now—I have an essay that needs writing. And this is not the essay. My only consolation is this is a lifelong malfunction that most people struggle with. If I can stop staying up until four in the morning to finish papers and projects, I will totally consider this a success.

Starting by stopping. =]

I’ve been working at this off and on since 9th grade…I’m now a freshman in college. =] The only thing I can reliably say is “Siriol dw i.” Which is, tbh, not my real name, but I like it very much. The Welsh-speaking population in my mid-sized Northern California hometown is 0 (and the situation is no better here at uni), so I started with a grammar page I stumbled across and the Colin and Cumberland game on the BBC website. Although it did leave me a bit confused: what’re the most important differences between N. and S. Welsh; which is most common; and are they mutually unintelligible?

For those still curious, I discovered the language in middle school listening to my belovéd Charlotte Church albums. Being able to actually read the lyrics for “Men of Harlech” and “Suo-Gân” is still my main impetus. Oh, and I love the acccent; I want to emulate it. =]

Any tips, short of just keep on truckin’?
