I carry my cellphone with me EVERYWHERE. No, really, everywhere. When I shower, I turn it up loud enough to hear so if it goes off I can quickly dry off and answer it. I’m addicted to it. I won’t leave the room with it. And the few times that I turn it off (i.e. when in class), I worry that people are texting me or calling me.
I need to stop being a slave to it. People can wait for me, especially since people were able to wait before the invention of the cellphone. I am not a doctor or anyone who can save lives, so there’s no emergency that I can really help with. I need to be able to turn it off for an extended period of time and NOT worry about it.

I love it. I have the seasons on DVD and I watch it every week. It’s like heroin…but I can’t help it.

I learned to crochet this past summer when I worked at a Girl Scout Camp from the Arts and Crafts Specialist. And then when I went off to college this year, my RA held a floor activity about learning to knit. Since then, every week we have a “Stitch ‘n’ Bitch” group where we sit around and work on some kind of crafty project together. It’s totally relaxing, and now I have stuff to do while watching TV or something, and I can give homemade presents now. :-)

I was terrified of paintball for a while after I got hurt while playing, and finally a friend invited me and I went out…and I rocked!
It’s an awesome time. Don’t miss out if you have the chance to play.

As a kid, I went to a very small private Catholic school. Instead of being nicer, the kids were much meaner than they would be at a public school. So, oftentimes they would “compliment” me, only for me to find out later that they were actually making fun of me. This makes it hard for me to accept compliments, even though now that I’m in a new school and I’ve grown into myself, I get real compliments. It’s just hard to shake the suspicion that the person is lying.

Such a beautiful country…it was worth every penny it took to get there. Can’t wait to go back some day!

I’ve loved the Red Hot Chili Peppers for as long as I can remember, and they’re the only band I’ve ever “obsessed” about. I’d love to meet them someday!!

I love being lefty, but being able to be lefty AND righty would just prove how awesome I am. :-D

I went to Mexico about a week ago, and at the resort they had dance lessons. It was a little confusing at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was a lot of fun! I want to take more lessons to become better, but it’s definately a fun thing to do!

I’m allowed to have weaknesses.
I just need to learn (and accept) this.

I want to be remembered, plain and simple. All I need to do is be creative, original, charming, kind, loving, and funny, and most people should remember me pretty easily.

I need to realize that while I wasn’t adopted, I’m still different from my family, and I can’t change that. I may not enjoy everything else my family does, but I can still love and accept them.
