I havent really been bothering the last couple of months, just being good the bad then good… too much work to do and all those other excuses. I think my weights stayed pretty constant (I say think because our scales broke a couple of weeks ago) at about 186lbs. BUT THIS IS GOING TO CHANGE V.SOON.
I have 2 weeks off till my next couple of exams and by the time I go back to school (Sept. 2nd) I want to be in the 130’s. I honestly think I can do it if i try (although I had a lion and mars bar after two very bad exams) but I’m damn well commited this time I’m telling you.
I’m sick of being all antisocial because I’ll be the fat one and be all self conscious, ENOUGH!

Santogold – apparentely sounds a lot like MIA (who I have yet to check out). The songs “L.E.S Artistes” and “Say Aha” are worth a listen. Bit hard to describe, like loads of styles fused into one.

mainly because I just couldn’t be arsed with certain people and certain situations. I’m in one of those moods – the one where you just want to be anti-social all day.

in about a week as far as I can recall. I will have to lie on Thursday tho to get me out of some stupid thing so I can do some much needed revision, but lying for GOOD causes doesn’t count does it?

to stop hating myself and stop second (or sometimes even third) guessing myself. I also over analyse everything I’ve done/said over the day when I get home and it’s driving me crazy. I used to be so confident and so sure of myself and I dont think I’ll ever get that back to be honest. Its always an uphill struggle. I just want to be who I was like 2yrs ago.

Junior Boys – “In The Morning” I understand that it was released like 2yrs ago but I only discovered it on saturday when I was watching So You Think You Can Dance (I know its no excuse but I was sick) and Lacey and Pascha (!!!) did a brilliant hip hop dance to it. Seriously obsessed with this song now.

Aside from being in “Spaced” one of the best comedies ever created (notice the username), she is one of the v.few female comedians that I like. Heres a short bio. I found of her –
Jessica co-wrote and co-starred in two series of SPACED on Channel 4. Spaced was nominated as Best Sitcom and Jessica won the Best Female Comedy Newcomer Award at the British Comedy Awards 2000. The 2nd series was nominated at the 2001 International Emmy Awards. She was nominated for Best Actress at the 2003 BAFTA Awards for her performance in TOMORROW LA SCALA. Her performance in THE NIGHT HERON at the Royal Court was also nominated for Best Performance in a Supporting Role at the 2003 Olivier Awards.

Above are some of the clothes she designed for Lee Cooper called “The Dodger” (obviously inspired by the artful dodger). I love the way that she says her 5 elements of style are “Hats, all kinds, boots, men’s shirts, jeans, and anything with a high waist”. Thats my kind of style.

The Joy Formidable” – only discovered this band about 16hrs ago, thought the name was cool so I’d give them a shot. “Austere” and “Cradle” are great.
*White Rabbits – “While We Go Dancing”, don’t really seem to like any other songs.
Voxtrot – “Kid Gloves” seems to one of those songs that seems familiar but you can’t for the life of you place it…

For a good number of days now – even when I had opportunities to, I think I’m doing well!

“With her huge dark eyes, heart-shaped mouth, and tousled bob, Clara Bow was the embodiment of the twenties jazz baby. Her life was a Hollywood movie: miserable, impoverished childhood, overnight stardom, national adulation. Not that it was all plain sailing once she got to Tinseltown. The studio worked her hard (she made 58 films in 11 years), and until she settled down with fellow actor Rex Bell, Bow repeatedly clashed with her bosses over her tempestuous personal life. No matter; Bow’s fans couldn’t get enough of her undeniable sex appeal, crystallized in the 1927 film It and in her enduring, much-pilfered nickname—”the It girl.”
(Also a redhead!!!)

She is brilliant in every film I have seen her in (Elf/Hitchhikers Guide/Almost Famous) and is kooky without putting it on too much cough Kirsten Dunst cough. She also comes across well in interviews and had a GREAT fashion sense.

The Dodos – “Winter” is the standout track for me
Frightened Rabbit – I listened to “Head Rolls Off” about 50 times going to school today, love it THAT much.
My Teenage Stride – “Ears Like Golden Bats” sounds remarkably like a minimalism piece I have to compose for music, the lyrics – you’re gonna let me down, are genius.

today, but I’d say that I’m improving, usually I lie about things that dont even matter, and some pretty big things too, which means I have to lie FURTHER to cover up those lies…...and it goes on and on.

STILL hate her, but it seems like everyone does, but I have come to the conclusion that bitching about her isn’t the answer – juat makes me look like a bad person. So from now on I’m just going to ignore her and if an unavoidable social situation comes up I will just act polite and civil, NO BITCHING! But if a time does arise when she really annoys me and i can’t help but let her know what i think of her then, it is SO getting done.

Jack’s Mannequin – forgot to mention this band the last time round, my friend sent me some of their songs like 3 yrs ago and i found them recentely. Didn’t really like them before, LOVE them now. “Kill The Messenger”, “Dark Blue” and “The Mixed Tape” are my favourites.
Kimya Dawson – I may be jumping on the “Juno” bandwagon here (which I still haven’t seen!) but what the hell “Tire Swing” and “Loose Lips” are the best.
Kind of off the point but does anyone else like Bloc Party’s “Flux”? I seem to be the only one in my friends/country/world that likes this song.

here’s were I’m at, Core 1&2 are doable, Mechanics is still a pain in the arse frankly and as I am planning to drop this subject next year, I only need a B in it, so thats what I’m aiming for as I dont think I’m EVER going to get an A.
So bye bye goal…
