In three weeks, I devoured Freakonomics by Steve Levitt, The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, and Hawkes Harbor by S.E. Hinton. I also re-read Pride and Prejudice, one of my favorite novels of all-time. I’m very lucky now, to have a job with extensive free time, and they encourage reading and promote education. Still keeping up with the list, I have some biographies in mind for my next group of books to read. And I also plan on reading “Eats Shoots and Leaves” within the next week or so.

hahahahahahahahahahaha…got her! got her! Jews are waiting for the Messiah for them to rise from their graves and be judged…The Christian Messiah came, so they rise almost immediately to be judged…So I said “there will always be Jews because there will always be someone waiting for their Messiah” and she was speechless…and she stuttered a bit…the thought of a world that always has Jewish people seemed to scare her….sigh i’m so proud of myself…
i just finished reading the Small Book of Miracles for the Jewish Heart…a book of short stories, of multiple generations of miracles and blessings…the book really made me appreciate the smaller things I have been blessed with- like two loving parents, a father who survived several serious operations, a brother who is caring and considerate, a roof over my head, the ability to fund my own college education (with some help from the bank), a boyfriend who loves and understands me, etc…Really…You must appreciate the small things that God gives you…=)
