Just getting into this and it’s really fun. I’d like to take it in a rather different direction to most of the stuff I’ve seen. Less strobing lights and spinning shapes, more abstract ambience and morphing imagery. Also interesting to try it out with something other than electronic music, which is what we’re hoping to do with my band the next time we gig – though I’ll be on stage, so someone else will have to handle the VJing.

I’d like to think I’m one of the most open-minded people I know, but we all have our lapses and blind spots. There’s always room for improvement. Diversity is one the few pure concepts which I can unqualifiedly believe in.

Been thinking about this a lot recently. It would be pretty specialised, though not to any one genre as such, but just to the kinds of music that I love. It would be nice to help out small bands who deserve more exposure, but who are making stuff that’s just too darned strange to gain mainstream recognition. It would also be great to have a label with a definite style, something where people knew if they liked one of the bands, they’d probably like them all.
