I Should Say... 4 months ago

Hi!

I just need to say what I think needs to be said right now, and that is that I am not a Zoanthrope or Therianthrope, and nor do I claim to be one. I just experience some terrible delusional nightmares in which I transform into an animal (that could be stemming from underlying Clinical Zoanthropy). This experience is, a lot of the time, not much fun.

I remember once, while asleep, having the delusion that I transformed into a dead cat that was flattened down the middle, as if by a car. This was, needless to say, a terrifying experience that nobody would want to encounter.

As to whether I believe in Zoanthropy or not is a different matter. Anything I post here is grounded in my research and does not necessarily reflect my opinions or beliefs. I am doing my research to find out whether I believe in these things or not, and to draw a conclusion from the resources I can find.

I am not here to aim attacks at people or insult them. I am here to learn from you all and offer my advice, and to share my knowledge from my research so far.

The overall purpose of my research is threefold, for the following purposes:

1. To find out whether it is possible for a human to change shape into some form of animal.

2. To demystify this foggy area when it comes to religion and to clarify and define exactly what a Zoanthrope is.

3. To write a novel on the subject, I’m not sure about the storyline yet, but it should be good to do, particularly if it’s based in fact.

I do not, however, intend to prove or disprove the existence of Zoanthropes, as this is too much for anybody to accomplish, I merely want to discover what I think about the topic.

Out Of Body Experience (OOBE) Zoanthropy 7 months ago

Hi!

This is the likely ‘strain’ of Zoanthropy that you are talking about.

Overview

In an OOBE Zoanthropic ‘Episode’ the person involved is mentally (or sometimes physically) transported out of their body in their spirit form (in your case, a cat), is revealed either as a physical apparition to others or indeed as an invisible entity.

Drawbacks

This is only really an inconvenience if it happens during the normal course of your day and/or it begins to obstruct your day-to-day life.

Solutions

If your Zoanthropy is developed to this stage then I suggest meditation or relaxation in order to better control your experiences. Do this somewhere out-of-the way and quiet, perhaps with a soothing background noise like a flowing stream.

Wait for an out of body experience and try to keep your mind focused on where you are and on your human body.

Enjoyment

If you enjoy these experiences, they need not cease altogether, they can be controlled and, through careful practice, you may be able to move in and out of your spirit form at will (a useful skill).

Further Reading

You can read more about the different forms of Lycanthropy (essentially the same as Zoanthropy but specific to werewolves, which share a lot of common characteristics with werecats) at the following URL:

This is one of my entry board messages on a different topic, and the forms of Lycanthropy are identical to the forms of Feline Zoanthropy, so this is a highly relevant message.

Good luck with it anyway, and I really hope this message helps!

P.S – I would have posted this as a comment to kittygirl160 but I thought it better that everybody saw this message, and not just those that click on the “Comments” link.

How It Feels 7 months ago

Hi All!

How it feels… an interesting question, and such a complex one that I’m writing a book on the matter. In order to try and answer it in the least space possible, I’ll summarize the main points here.

OOBE Lycanthropy

OOBE (Out Of Body Experience) Lycanthropy is a form of Lycanthropy(Werewolfism) in which the person involved has their spirit transported out of their body and their spirit assumes the form of a wolf. This is the most popular form of Lycanthropy, because people are far more comfortable with this than they are with actual physical transformation. It has been quoted by several OOBE Lycanthropes that it can be the most exhilarating experience of their lives, I’ve never experienced it myself.

Clinical Lycanthropy

This is the process of hallucinating (resulting from a mental disorder) that you are transforming into a wolf. This is most often seen in polymaniacs (people with several complex manic psychological disorders) but is, rarely seen in monomaniacs (who can be seemingly perfectly normal people with one complex manic psychological disorder, which is sometimes seldom noticed). I am a sufferer of Monomanic Clinical Zoanthropy (transforming into an animal other than a wolf, in my case, a cat) and I can safely tell you that it can be the most painful, excruciating, terrifying experience that you’ll ever encounter. Here is one of my Zoanthropic Hallucinations (an extract from my journal with obscenities removed):

The zoanthropy hit me like a ton of bricks and when I was least expecting it… At 4:00am.
Boy, was it scary. I woke up in Zoanthropic pain, then, as I stumbled into the bathroom and checked the mirror, my face was covered in fur. My teeth fell out as I checked my mouth. I will never forget the sound they made as they clattered to the floor. Even as I watched they were replaced by sharp fangs. I was wracked with agony so intense that I would rank it the second worst Zoanthropic fit of my life. And as I drifted in and out of consciousness, the pain suddenly ceased.I got up and looked in the mirror. The entire cat ensemble greeted me, ears, eyes, fangs everything.

As fun as this may sound, the experience is horribly painful and terrifying, and no fun at all because nobody can see your transformed self but you and even if they could, it is not worth the agony. I later discovered, through examination of my situation, that this was not a real happening, but a dream, which has now faded into a dull memory.

‘Real’ Lycanthropy

‘Real’ Lycanthropy or, as I have named it, Transformational Lycanthropy is the process of actually, physically transforming into a werewolf. The existence of Transformational Lycanthropes has long been debated, but there is still a chance that they exist. Just bear in mind that Physical Shape-Shifts (or P-Shifts) are almost non-existent in documentation and no account that I have found says that P-Shifts feel anything but ‘weird’ and even that word only came up a few times.

A Little Warning

Religion can be a major issue, there are all sorts of documents out there relating to very dark rituals or dangerous drugs or demonic possession. I can only advise you to stay well clear of such things. Particularly people who believe that Lycanthropes are unholy.

So I leave you with that thought. With any luck, I’ve been of some help. I like to consider myself somewhat of an expert on the matter (taking into account personal experience and many hours of research for my book) If you have any questions, ask away!
