did my little run loop again today, which makes 3 days in a row. unprecedented in sophialand.
i let myself get really out of shape over the summer & fall. too much work, too busy to run…. but apparently not to busy to go out drinking…...
well i decided yesterday that i’m just going to start running a little bit every day. it’s easier to decide once to run every day than to decide every day to run once.
i’m starting off with a 2.75-mile loop in my neighborhood. i did it yesterday and today. i’m slow as hell, but what keeps me going is picturing how soon i’ll start speeding up if i keep at this.
my big goal in the medium term is to do a half-marathon in the spring. in the long term, i’d like to do a full marathon.
