How I did it
How to learn to sail
It took me

proud and excited!

How I did it: We ran into some people who are members of a sailing club on a nearby lake.  They mentioned that there were too many captains and not enough crew.  We offered to learn to crew.  These people have since become friends and we by their standards are now valuable crew members!!  My husband loves it and we have sailed almost every race day and as often as possible on social sails.   Read how I did it…

How to finish setting up my garden

It made me
Proud of my work.

How I did it: I have to accept that gardening is somewhat costly especially when half the garden is to be in containers!  I still need to work out design in the flower bed and make it look a little more coordinated and get some bigger pots for the hot peppers but those things are all part of maintenance and that 's why this is DONE!!  Read how I did it…

How to get over my dads death \

How I did it: See lessons and tips section.  I lost my Dad the year before I was supposed to go to college.  That was 11 years ago.  It changed my world.  My whole life track shifted a bit.  I got married last year... had my little brother walk me down the aisle.  I know it hit him even harder than me, and that's tough.  We miss him HORRIBLY.  We love our mother too, but  this discussion is only about losing a father.  Amazing the role a father plays i… Read how I did it…

Peppi Le Pew says “Le Sigh” often… and I know how he feels. In love with an idea and patiently chasing it… but just as you get close, it is gone again. He just smiles and hops on after his lovely idea, never quitting, just: ‘le sigh’. I like this analogy. Makes me feel more positive anyway.

Trial class. 4 days ago

Went to a free trial salsa and belly dance classes. Loved it, but can’t afford to take lessons yet. I’m still on the list so maybe they’ll start a salsa class after the first of the year. HOPE!!

Thought I caught that dust bunny but he multiplied! 4 days ago

LOL- just when I thought I had the dust under control… I start sneezing! Locked the dog and cat out of the bedroom so the desk will be easier to clean but I never took into account my muddy husband! LOL! We need a washing machine VERY badly. I almost want to restructure the financial plan to buy a brand new one, but I guess a used one will do just fine. You know what? I think we need a bigger house too…. :-P
