This is not an easy goal. As a 16-year-old, I’m discovering that more and more as my friends seem to become increasingly dependent upon things that are bought for entertainment.
But it’s doable. Walk around your neighborhood and take in the atmosphere. Take a walk in a park, instead. If you’re willing to put some one-time charges out there, buy a pack of cards and a book of card games. All of a sudden, you’ve got a whole bunch more to do. Invite some close friends over and talk. There are ways to enjoy life without spending money, though you might have to get a bit creative to find them.
I applaud and respect this goal. Best of luck.
