I had a baby girl! Unfortunately, after 15 hours of natural labor, we found out her head just wouldn’t fit. I had to have a c-section, but I still have my baby girl!

I took my three-toed boxie, Soup, to the vet for a check-up soon after he joined our family. He was an unwanted “pet” that the previous caretakers had gotten tired of and tossed onto the highway, were he was run over: ( His shell needed looked at, and his appetite wasn’t what it should be. He was given a few much-needed shots and a clean bill of health.
After his check-up (and after he forgave me for making him go!) he became a different turtle. People act like I’m crazy when I say this, but they really do have great personalities, and his really started to shine through. Now we share a fruit smoothie every night during The Iron Chef! Take your turt for a check-up whenever you can (it can be expensive) and he will really thank you for it.
My husband and I have had this goal for quite awhile, and started planning our trips right before we got married. This year, we plan to visit Phoenix (again), Nashville, Columbus, Colorado, and possibly Edmonton… of course this is going to be hard to do now that we are expecting (There is always later!)
And of course, we have visited Dallas many, many times!
