I’ve focused more on my diet rather than the exercise and it’s been interesting. Yogurt and Bean Salsa are quickly becoming staple foods for me…so glad I’m not stuck on sweets, but I do need to keep away from the late night Mountain Dew relapses at work.

OK, usually I spend almost everything I have left over from my check at which time something so conveniently financially blindsides me. This month I have started out doing quite well; I have almost $500 in my account and I haven’t touched in a week as of today…this is a new personal record for staying spend-free…I think I can make this thing work long-term with some trust in myself and some delayed gratification.
So, I have two good workouts in this week – both for 1 hour on the eliptical machine; I burned 605 calories in one workout and 714 calories on the other ! I’m also going to workout again tomorrow night before work. I’ve been eating right, and drinking a lot more water, getting a lot of sleep, and it’s helped me get to a new weight of…248 lbs. !!! I have thirty-eight to go and about 5 months to do it. I feel great and my pants are really starting to show some room in the waist.
