The biggest journey starts with the first step…and this is mine. Plus, for every ounce of tea I drink, I will drink 2 ounces of water.
Time to get in shape before I become a Daddy !
I finally have a house with a room in the basement to put together my recording studio…this has been a dream since I was 15 !
I need to see myself for all the gifts God has granted me: I’m musical, funny, outgoing, intelligent, a great husband and going to be a great Dad.
I am recommitting myself to living a better lifestyle. My weight has contributed to Sleep Apnea, being pre-diabetic, and now I get winded just walking up ONE flight of stairs…somethings gotta give, and I don’t want my heart to be that something.

We met in late Feb. 2007, got engaged on May 16th 2008, and now it’s been planning, counseling, and abstaining from sex for the last 3 months…
Well, I am back at about 257 :>(
I’ve had some needed surgery which made things a bit painful these last 3 weeks, but I have no excuses for almost 2 years with no more positive results. I’m recommitting myself to eating better, drinking soda on weekends only, and doubling my fruits/veggies.
I’ve focused more on my diet rather than the exercise and it’s been interesting. Yogurt and Bean Salsa are quickly becoming staple foods for me…so glad I’m not stuck on sweets, but I do need to keep away from the late night Mountain Dew relapses at work.
OK, usually I spend almost everything I have left over from my check at which time something so conveniently financially blindsides me. This month I have started out doing quite well; I have almost $500 in my account and I haven’t touched in a week as of today…this is a new personal record for staying spend-free…I think I can make this thing work long-term with some trust in myself and some delayed gratification.
So, I have two good workouts in this week – both for 1 hour on the eliptical machine; I burned 605 calories in one workout and 714 calories on the other ! I’m also going to workout again tomorrow night before work. I’ve been eating right, and drinking a lot more water, getting a lot of sleep, and it’s helped me get to a new weight of…248 lbs. !!! I have thirty-eight to go and about 5 months to do it. I feel great and my pants are really starting to show some room in the waist.
Well, I’m signed up for the beginning, intermediate, and advanced classes that will take place here at work September 6th and 20th. Let’s see if I can put it to good use as I’ll now be working with the other members of the Web Admin Team on revamping our department’s websites.
