it was the “gunslinger born” comics that got me in the mood to read the whole series again. if anyone is reading the books, you should DEFINITELY pick these up. i believe they are going to be released as a set this fall. i would be sure to have read “wizard and glass” first, since the comics deal mostly with that story.

doing it again 2 years ago

as i waited for newer ones to be released, i always re-read the older ones, so by this point i have read the first few about eight times. i am currently reading the series all the way through again. i just finished “song of susannah” i am about to read the final book. this is the only one i have never read more than once, so i am exited.

harry potter and lotr are great. really great. but they can’t hold a candle to roland’s ka-tet.
