i love driving stick! i wanna buy a VW beetle with manual trans. the first day i learned, i killed the engine at least 20 times. three days later, i knew exactly what i was doing. its worth it, although driving downtown or in heavy traffic is a pain in the ass
somewhere peaceful like oregon or beautiful like colorado. no where super far. just to get peace of mind. has anyone done this?
i write all the time!! i’ve had books published in my school libraries but i’d like to publish one nationally. i dont know about what though. maybe a cool culture, like parsis or haitian vodun. or maybe about life.
i know how to do it but i’d like to be able to carry around the little card and maybe put my skills to use one day! i took a lifeguarding course four years ago but havent renewed anything.
So far I have- Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, MAryland, (washington DC), iowa, missouri, north dakota, south dakota, nebraska, kansas, oklahoma, texas, wyoming, utah, arizona, kentucky, tennessee, north carolina, mississippi, georgia, and florida. but some of these i’ve only been THROUGH not TO. tell me what’s worth seeing in the other states!
I just think it would be neat, and HTML so far has been cake. I know by the time I get around to learning it enough to make a page, it will be outdated, but it’s a fun idea.
I took two years of Spanish in school over five years ago and haven’t studied it since. Now I’m dating a Mexican who’s helping me learn, and at times it’s really difficult. I want to do it because I know so many Spanish-speaking people and just to prove to myself that I can. My goal as of last year was to speak fluently by December 2008 but that’s a little unrealistic. I’ll shoot for a year or two from now.
