Try breathing out through your nose very slowly. That’s how I’ve always done it, and eventually you may be able to just keep air bubbles there in your nostrils to prevent water getting up.
When i used to do syncronized swimming I wore a nose plug thingy because you move upside down and can’t afford to breathe that air out. If you have too much difficulty then maybe that would be an easier option to look into.:)

I do music as a subject and my two instruments are Voice and Flute, and I’m in the choir. So I sing in public with the choir all the time, but I don’t think that counts so much.. :) ANd we have to do performances for marks, but i’ve only played my flute in assembly so far (cos it’s my main instrument.)
I’ve sung for people, I was choir captain in primary school and sung a solo at our prize giving, and since then I’ve sung plenty of times in front of lots of people, and led the school choir on occasion with one of our traditional Xhosa songs, (which tends to surprise people) which is great fun.
One of the most fun times singing for people was on a bus, we were on a school tour when i was grade 8 or 9, and I sang Josh Groban’s “You raise me up” while one of my good friends (who can’t really sing) pretended to be singing it for everyone. It was really funny! :D

I got my own bow for my 17th birthday from my mom, its a Rolan bow: http://www.arc-rolan.com/uk/index.html and it’s very cool. I’m part of the club, and I’m second on the woman’s ladder, so I think i can safely say i’ve learnt archery.
Now i just need to get good at it! :)
