I'm doing 9 things
And, to prove it, I’m typing this entry… from the sunroom!
Thing is, it’s our beloved Steve who makes these things possible for us, since we would never in a hundred years struggle through the maze of mindblocks we’ve got up around spending more time than we absolutely have to locked (for all other intents and purposes)in the office trying to figure out how in hell persons such as ourselves are supposed to access this technology when all we really want to do is play outside.
Plant things, and poke around, and wander, poet/potter like, from one bit of ridiculous beauty to the next. Steve flew three thousand miles to make us official in the eyes of The Web, and flew again to make us wireless. Not to mention washing the windows in the sunroom, a thing that’s been on the List for weeks without having managed to top out moving the turkeys, taking our Devon heifers to meet their boyfriend (Duke), finishing the potting shed (where we do no potting of any kind), planting lettuce and spinach, whacking foxtail with our neighbor’s heavy duty walk-behind whacker, and moaning over the zinnias and the morning glory’s blue. This is not a complete list, the endlessness of which would have made a sentence like James Joyce crossed with Sisyphus…
