today is truly the test for this goal. can i really forgive someone when they make repeated mistakes that hurt me? would i be able to move past all the ugliness and find peace? are all things worthy of forgiveness? i wish i had the sort of love and kindness that Buddha has for mankind. i wish i knew what is the right thing to do.

How I did it: at the lowest point in my life, i contemplated the best and the worst options. i felt helpless and lost, not knowing what the future held for me. luckily, with the help of friends and family, i was able to get back on my feet and rebuild EVERYTHING. it was not easy, but my life has never been better :) . in this experience, i learned to appreciate the small joys in life, to be grateful for the peacefulness of a day, and to love all t… Read how I did it…
How I did it: after searching around for different dance studios/classes, i finally found a hip hop class that i enjoy at the Gold's Gym in Oakland. the class is being held every friday evening, and even though it's not a real hip hop class, it satisfies my need to dance and express myself. I HAVE found another dance class that i would like to attend through a local newspaper, it's every thursday evening in SF. it is a blues dance lesson with a blues d… Read how I did it…
How I did it: life was crazy for a while, especially after the move to a new city. i think i fell to the bottom of the bottom for a while, but it made me take a hard look at my life and who i am as a person, and i've accepted the challenge to be better than ever. i found peace and teachings in Buddhism, the religion that i grew up with. i pray daily, and practice the teachings of Buddha every chance that i have. i reflect on even the smallest events of… Read how I did it…

of europe, i’ve only visited spain. i fell in love with it immediately, and have been yearning to visit the rest of europe ever since. of all the european countries, i’m most interested in visiting italy. i love italian food, italian culture, italian soccer teams. if i was not moving to san francisco to be with someone that i love, i would be going to sicily for a week’s time in October of 2009 for work. although that’s not in the picture any longer, i look forward to planning a trip to italy with my boyfriend. i hope to spend at least a week’s time there, so we can really enjoy all that italy has to offer.
I’m so tired right now. I just finished a second interview with a Bioanalytical company out in the SF area, and i’m ready for a quick nap. the interview went very well. i met some of the scientists from the lab, and i should hear back from them sometime early next week. the start date would be on the 5th of january, if i get an offer. that would be perfect timing for all the plans that i have for the holiday season. fingers crossed, i will be finalizing my plans in SF very soon.
oh, and i do have another interview lined up with a biotech company in south san francisco next Thursday. this location would be much closer than the previous one, so it’s potentially more desirable. as for now, i’m keeping my options open, and my fingers crossed for both. would you keep yours crossed for me too? :)
